Social science is an academic discipline that studies human society, including the behavior, interactions, organizations, culture, politics, and economy of its members. It seeks to understand and explain social phenomena and explore various dimensions of human society through research. Various research methods and theories are implemented to analyze social phenomena, and they contribute to understand the various aspects of human society. These processes are used to understand human behavior, solve social issues, understand culture, and suggest law and policy establishments.
The Hallym University College of Social Sciences is categorized into fields including Advertising & Public Relations, Economics, Law, Psychology, Social Welfare, Sociology, Political Science & Public Administration, and Youth Studies, in which opportunities are provided to learn from each academic characteristic and integrated aspect.
The Building on traditional theories, Hallym's College of Social Sciences has adopted an advanced AI-based education system for the era of artificial intelligence, playing a key role in leading Korea’s representative Glocal 30 universities selected by the Ministry of Education.
